About

I grew up in a family of antique collectors with a father who is a fine artist, master wood carver and cabinetmaker. He taught me the importance of conservation whether a fine antique or a primitive farmhouse. Being surrounded with culture and art appreciation led to me studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design where I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelors in Fine Art and Art History.

In 1993 I moved to NYC and worked for Antique Furniture Workroom along with Fairtlough and Taylor and Oxford Restoration. I perfected my skills in woodworking while working alongside European masters who helped sharpen the art of restoration and fabrication of period furniture. I worked with Ralph Lauren, Peter Marino, Thomas O'Brian and private collections of Harrison Ford, M. J. Fox and the Merrell Lynch Estate.

My core focus is the preservation of 17th, 18th, and early 19th century period English, American, and Continental furniture by using traditional, reversible methods and materials while being dedicated to preserving the integrity and vintage state of the objects.
